LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - “Deadwood” veteran Timothy Olyphant has joined FX’s legal drama series “Damages,” which begins its second season in the fall.

His character becomes entangled in the life of Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) as she deals with her boss, Patty Hewes (Glenn Close), when the firm takes a new client (William Hurt).

Olyphant starred in HBO’s gritty Western “Deadwood,” which aired for three seasons until 2006. His recent feature credits include “Live Free or Die Hard” and “Stop-Loss.”
