NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - Comedy Central’s “South Park” is available in high definition for the first time beginning Tuesday as an HD episode offered via the Xbox Live Marketplace.

The episode, titled “Good Times With Weapons,” will be available as a free download to Xbox Live members for two weeks. Best Buy also will offer a free HD DVD of the episode with purchase of an Xbox 360 console or HD DVD drive from March 20-April 3.

The 11th season of “South Park” debuts Wednesday on Comedy Central.

“Weapons” is an anime-inspired episode that first aired in March 2004 during the animated show’s eighth season. It casts the boys as ninja warriors and is one of 10 episodes featured on the “South Park: The Hits” DVD, released last year.

Beginning March 13, uncensored episodes of the new season also will be available at Xbox Live. Seasons 5-9 and the show’s 1999 feature film, “South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut,” already are available via Xbox.
