"Babylon" calls to Tamblyn

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Amber Tamblyn is set to star in the CBS pilot “Babylon Fields,” an apocalyptic comedic drama about the undead trying to resume their former lives.

Tamblyn will play a young woman who, after being abused by her father, teamed with her mom to kill him only to see him come back. Tamblyn rose to fame in CBS’ short-lived spiritual drama “Joan of Arcadia,” and also starred in the feature “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.”
