LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Former top FX executives Kevin Reilly and Peter Liguori might be headed for a reunion, this time at Fox Broadcasting Co.
Given how well regarded he is by News Corp. president and COO Peter Chernin, Reilly has been rumored to be headed for Fox since his Memorial Day weekend ouster at NBC. But that early speculation focused on the possibility that he would replace Fox entertainment president Liguori.
It is understood now that the two would work together, with Reilly, known for his development skills, focusing on the programming side.
Liguori and Reilly’s previous teaming at FX, where Liguori was president and CEO and Reilly was entertainment president, put the cable network on the map with groundbreaking hits “The Shield” and “Nip/Tuck.”
