MOSCOW, May 19 (Reuters) - Russia’s Dmitry Tursunov will miss the French Open, which starts next week, because of a heel injury, his Davis Cup coach Shamil Tarpishchev said on Tuesday.
“After undergoing surgery recently, he still has a lot of pain in his left heel so he would not be able to play in Paris,” Tarpishchev said of the world number 23, who reached the third round at Roland Garros last year.
“Hopefully, Dmitry will be back to full strength in time for Wimbledon.”
