TOKYO, July 24 (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp. 7203.T said it will operate at all of its domestic factories on Wednesday after it had resumed partial production at some of its car assembly factories on Tuesday.
Japan’s top automaker had halted production at all of its domestic factories and those of affiliates building Toyota-brand cars last Thursday after a key supplier was hit by an earthquake on July 16.
The factories will likely remain open on Thursday and beyond, but plans will be confirmed on Wednesday, a spokeswoman said.
