HANOI (Reuters) - Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao held informal talks on Saturday morning, Japanese Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary Tetsuro Fukuyama told reporters.
“(The two countries) will continue efforts to move forward strategic beneficial ties,” Fukuyama said. The two leaders also shared the view that it was regrettable that Kan and Wen could not hold an official summit as expected on the sidelines of a regional summit in Vietnam, Fukuyama said.
