New Issue-Toronto-Dominion Bank sells $5 bln in notes

 Sept 7 (Reuters) - Toronto-Dominion (TD.TO) on Wednesday sold $5 billion of two-part covered notes in the 144a private placement market said IFR, a Thomson Reuters service.
 Barclays Capital, Deutsche Bank, RBS and TD were the joint bookrunning managers for the sale.
