11th Circuit declines to revive lawsuit against TransUnion

A California woman who was an authorized user on her parents’ credit card account cannot sue TransUnion for including her parents’ delinquencies on her credit report, a federal appeals court ruled.

In a decision on Thursday, a three-judge panel of the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the woman, Kathleen Pedro, did not establish that TransUnion was unreasonable when it included the account on her report and used it to calculate her credit score.
