Kuwait calls for Tunisian unity at Arab summmit

SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Egypt, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Kuwait’s emir called at an Arab summit on Wednesday for Tunisian national unity to resolve a crisis sparked by the toppling of Tunisia’s president after a wave of public protests. “We look forward to efforts towards solidarity in Tunisia to overcome this particular stage and achieve stability and security,” Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah said in his opening address at the economic summit in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh.
