TUNIS, April 1 (Reuters) - Tunisian Energy Minister Naila Nouira said on Friday that 30% of the country’s electricity consumption will be from renewable sources by 2030.
Tunisia has been hit hard by high oil prices due to the war in Ukraine. It has granted this month licences to three international companies to produce 500 megawatts of electricity from renewables. (Reporting By Moahmed Argoubi and Tarek Amara; Editing by Jon Boyle)
