TUNIS, Feb 2 (Reuters) - Tunisia’s central bank kept its key interest rate unchanged at five percent, the bank said on Friday.
The central bank had previously raised its key interest rate from 4.75 percent to five percent in May last year as it tried to ease inflation pressures and halt a slide in the dinar currency.
Tunisia’s annual inflation rate rose to 6.4 percent in December 2017, the highest rate since July 2014.
