Turkcell says chief executive to stand down as of Jan. 31

ISTANBUL, Jan 28 (Reuters) - Turkey’s largest mobile phone operator Turkcell said on Wednesday its chief executive, Sureyya Ciliv, had decided to resign with effect from Jan. 31.

Chief Technology Group Officer Ilker Kuruoz will serve as acting CEO while a replacement is sought, the company said in a statement to the Istanbul bourse.
