Turkey cbank says to buy 8 bln lira govt debt in 2010

ANKARA, Dec 10 (Reuters) - Turkey’s central bank said on Thursday it planned to buy 8 billion lira ($5.3 billion) of domestic government debt in 2010, a maximum 5 billion lira of which would be bought in the first half.

Central Bank Governor Durmus Yilmaz also told a conference that the bank may reduce the reserve requirement ratio for banks in the case of liquidity shortages.
