April data points to Turkey meeting its inflation targets -Albayrak

ISTANBUL, May 3 (Reuters) - Turkish Finance Minister Berat Albayrak said on Friday that a fall in inflation in April, along with a decline in food prices to be achieved over the summer, showed that Turkey will meet its inflation targets.

Writing on Twitter, Albayrak pointed to a fall in annual core inflation to 16.30 percent in April from 17.53 percent a month earlier as a “significant decline.”
