Turkey will not change gas/power prices in 2011

ANKARA, Oct 26 (Reuters) - Turkey has decided not to change its electricity prices by the end of 2011 and nor will it adjust its natural gas prices in lira terms in 2011, Turkey’s Economy Minister Ali Babacan told an exporters conference on Tuesday.

Energy-hungry Turkey has been privatising its power grids and power generation facilities and also plans to build a nuclear power station.
