FRANKFURT (Reuters) - The European Central Bank is not considering the idea of helicopter money, its vice president said on Thursday, in comments referring to the concept of sending money directly to citizens.
“We are not considering anything of that sort. So it’s not on the table in any shape or form,” Vitor Constancio told lawmakers in the European Parliament.
