Al Jazeera TV says to air new bin Laden tape

DUBAI (Reuters) - Al Jazeera television said on Thursday it would air a new audio tape of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden at 1800 GMT (1 p.m. ET).

The television gave no further details.

An Islamist Web site said on Monday that bin Laden would address the people of Europe soon.

Bin Laden’s last message was released on October 22. The Saudi-born militant then urged unity between Iraq’s Sunni insurgents.
