Brazil tax revenues slip 0.3 percent in July from a year earlier

BRASILIA (Reuters) - Brazil’s federal tax collection slipped 0.3 percent in July from the same month a year ago after adjusting for inflation, the worst performance for the month since 2010, the country’s tax agency said on Friday.

The country collected 109.9 billion reais ($34.8 billion) in federal taxes in the month, in line with the median forecast of 110 billion reais in a Reuters poll of economists.
