RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro on Tuesday thanked U.S. President Donald Trump for his support over the issue of Amazon wildfires, as the far-right Brazilian government sought to find a way out of the growing international crisis.

“We’re fighting the wildfires with great success,” Bolsonaro said on Twitter in response to an earlier tweet by Trump in which the U.S. President offered Bolsonaro his full support.
