Brazilian poultry, pork processors back to normal after strike

SAO PAULO (Reuters) - Brazil’s poultry & pork processors association ABPA said on Tuesday all plants affected by recent truckers strike resumed operations.

Brazil’s ABPA estimates total losses to the sector from the strike at 3.15 billion reais ($826.77 million).

Brazil’s ABPA says industry worried, with possible rising costs from new truck freight rates set by the government as one of the measures to end the strike.
