Oil on Brazilian beaches likely to have leaked from a ship: navy commander

RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - The oil washing up on beaches in Brazil’s northeast is most likely to have leaked from a ship, accidentally or not, a commander in the Brazilian navy said on Wednesday.

In comments broadcast by GloboNews, Ilques Barbosa Junior said that he was confident Brazil would get to the bottom of who was responsible for the spill that has hit more than 100 beaches.
