Junior Brexit minister Heaton-Harris quits PM May's government

LONDON (Reuters) - Chris Heaton-Harris, a junior minister in Prime Minister Theresa May’s government, quit his job on Wednesday because he did not support any further extension to Britain’s departure from the European Union.

“I simply cannot support any further extension to Article 50 and this obviously means I cannot stay in government,” he said in a letter to May.
