Beijing's Forbidden City to be closed to tourists amid virus outbreak: People's Daily

BEIJING (Reuters) - Beijing’s Palace Museum, also known as The Forbidden City, will be closed to tourists from Saturday as China battles the outbreak of a coronavirus, the official People’s Daily reported on Thursday.

The reopening of what is the capital city’s most famous tourist attraction is pending further notice, the newspaper reported.
