NATO-member Denmark to hike military spending to 1.5 percent of GDP

COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Denmark will raise its military spending to 1.5 percent of its gross domestic product in 2023, up from 1.35 percent planned this year, the NATO country’s defense minister said on Tuesday.

The United States have put pressure on NATO allies to increase defense spending to 2 percent of GDP.
