GECAS close to ordering Airbus A321XLR: sources

PARIS (Reuters) - Leasing giant GECAS is in talks to place an order for the newly launched Airbus A321XLR, industry sources said.

An order from the aviation leasing unit of General Electric for the latest extended-range version of the A321neo could come at the Paris Airshow, they said.

Airbus declined comment and GE officials could not immediately be reached.
