Germany retail sales set to slow to 2 percent in 2018

BERLIN (Reuters) - German retail sales are expected to rise by 2 percent this year, retail association HDE said on Wednesday, lower than the 4.1 percent growth recorded last year.

Adjusted for inflation, sales will grow by 0.5 percent.

It said store sales will grow by 1.2 percent in nominal terms, while online sales will rise by 9.7 percent.
