Ryan Gosling narrates political documentary

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Ryan Gosling has signed on to narrate Phillip Montgomery’s documentary “ReGeneration,” a look at the causes of rampant cynicism among today’s youth and their apathetic view toward social and political causes. The late Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky and Talib Kweli also make appearances in the movie.

Gosling is also one of the film’s producers.

He’ll be seen onscreen later this year in the drama “Blue Valentine,” which the Weinstein Co. picked up after its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January. “Valentine” will screen in the Cannes festival’s Un Certain Regard section later this month.
