Irish government asks all pubs to close until March 29

DUBLIN (Reuters) - The Irish government called on Sunday for all bars in the country to close until March 29 to help curb the spread of coronavirus.

“The government is now calling on all public houses and bars (including hotel bars) to close from this evening until at least March 29,” the government said in a statement.
