Mexico records 6,196 new coronavirus cases, 522 more deaths

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexico’s health ministry on Friday reported 6,196 new confirmed cases of coronavirus infections and 522 additional fatalities, bringing the total in the country to 623,090 cases and 66,851 deaths.

The government has said the real number of infected people is likely significantly higher than the confirmed cases.
