At least 10 killed in train crashes in northern India

MUMBAI (Reuters) - At least 10 people were killed and about 40 injured in three train accidents in northern India, railway officials said, in foggy conditions that grounded flights and threw traffic out of gear on Saturday.

Visibility was near zero early on Saturday, leading to at least three train collisions in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the PTI news agency said, citing Harishchandra Joshi, the general manager of North Central Railways.

Dozens of flights were also delayed in northern India.
