French foreign minister heads to Geneva for Iran talks: source

PARIS (Reuters) - French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius is due to travel to Geneva for talks between Iran and world powers on the Islamic state’s nuclear program, a source said on Friday, suggesting that an agreement may be under discussion.

“An interim text is under discussion and the minister believed that it was an important step,” a diplomatic source said, adding that a ministerial meeting would be held in Geneva to discuss developments.
