WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama will meet in India with a delegation of U.S. business leaders including Boeing Co’s Jim McNerney, Honeywell’s David Cote and GE’s Jeffrey Immelt, the White House said.
Obama leaves on November 5 for a nine-day trip to India, Indonesia, South Korea and Japan. One of the issues he wants to emphasize is exports.
Terry McGraw, chief executive of McGraw Hill Companies and Indra Nooyi, chief executive of Pepsico are also among the business leaders Obama will meet in Mumbai, said White House deputy communications director Jen Psaki.
Obama and Commerce Secretary Gary Locke will speak at the U.S.-India Business Council.
