KazMunayGaz says oil output may fall in second quarter due to OPEC+ deal

ALMATY (Reuters) - KazMunayGaz may have to reduce its oil production in the second quarter due to Kazakhstan’s commitments under a global pact to cut output, the state energy firm said on Wednesday.

KazMunayGaz said its first-quarter output slipped 0.2% year on year to 5.9 million tonnes, or 489,000 barrels per day.
