Lebanon delays presidential vote to June 10

BEIRUT (Reuters) - Lebanon postponed a parliament session to elect a new president to June 10 from Tuesday, the parliament speaker said, in the 19th delay of the vote.

Lebanon, gripped by an 18-month political crisis, has slid into instability in recent days after Iranian-backed Hezbollah fighters launched a campaign against armed supporters of the U.S.-backed government.
