Polish oil refiner Lotos considers buying upstream assets

WARSAW (Reuters) - Poland’s second biggest oil refiner Lotos is considering buying upstream energy assets, the company’s deputy head said on Friday.

“We consider strategic options for our upstream segment and one of them is expanding our portfolio,” Jaroslaw Kawula told a video conference, adding the firm expected fuel sales to rise in May and refining to run at almost full capacity in the second quarter.
