LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - “Charlie’s Angels” director McG is in negotiations to shoot “Ouija,” a film adaptation of the Hasbro board game.
Plot details are kept under wraps although it’s described as a supernatural adventure centering around a family, with influences from “The Mummy” and “Indiana Jones.”
The Universal project was written by “Tron: Legacy” scribes Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. It will be produced by Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes genre label. McG, whose real name is Joseph McGinty Nichol, previously directed 2009’s “Terminator: Salvation.”
