Courtney Thorne-Smith booked on "Men"

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Courtney Thorne-Smith is returning to sitcom television with a potential recurring role on CBS’ “Two and a Half Men.”

Booked for one episode for now but with prospects for more, the actress will play “Lindsay,” a girlfriend for Alan (Jon Cryer).

Thorne-Smith, who spent eight seasons playing Jim Belushi’s wife on the ABC comedy “According to Jim,” recently starred in the Lifetime Movie Network film “Sorority Wars.” Her other credits include “Melrose Place” and “Ally McBeal.”
