Putin: Russia helps Syria destroy 'terrorists', does not interfere into its affairs

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia has no intention to interfere into Syria’s politics, and Moscow’s main task it to help the legitimate leadership of Syria destroy “terrorists”, Russian news agencies quoted President Vladimir Putin as saying on Monday.

Putin made his statement as he met students during a visit to the Stavropol region in southern Russia.
