French foreign minister to head to Russia, Iran to discuss Syria

PARIS (Reuters) - French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said on Tuesday he would travel to Russia and Iran in the coming days to discuss the war in Syria.

“We’re heading toward a humanitarian cataclysm” in Syria if nothing is done, Le Drian told French lawmakers.
