Turkey's Erdogan, France's Macron discuss Turkish operation into Syria's Afrin

ANKARA (Reuters) - Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan told French counterpart Emmanuel Macron that all measures have been taken to prevent civilian casualties in its operation on Syria’s Afrin, sources in Erdogan’s palace said on Tuesday.

Erdogan and Macron agreed to stay in close communication regarding efforts to solve the Syrian issue and exchanged information on the Turkish incursion into northern Syria, sources said.
