Four actors join "Big Momma's House"

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Big Momma’s family is growing.

Faizon Love, Emily Rios, Portia Doubleday and Michelle Ang have been cast in the third installment of “Big Momma’s House,” an FBI-agent-in-drag franchise starring Martin Lawrence.

Brandon T. Jackson (“Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief”) and Jessica Lucas (“Cloverfield”) already have been cast in the Fox project — now titled “Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son.”

In the latest story line, Big Momma (Lawrence) and Charmaine (Jackson) go undercover at an all-girls performing-arts school to unmask a murderer.

Love will play Kurtis Kool, a school security guard and former Run-D.M.C. roadie who becomes smitten with Big Momma. Rios, Doubleday and Ang will play students at the school who befriend Jackson’s character.

The film begins shooting this month in Atlanta at the private, all-girls Agnes Scott College. It will be directed by John Whitesell (“Big Momma’s House 2”).

Love next appears in the comedy “Life as We Know It,” which hits theaters in December. Rios next appears in the Taylor Hackford-directed drama “Love Ranch.” Doubleday recently co-starred in “Youth in Revolt.” Ang next will appear in the Jodie Foster-directed drama “The Beaver.”
