Power outage in NY not terrorism related: official

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The power outage that briefly halted New York City subway lines on Wednesday is not terrorism related, a U.S. official said.

“We have no information to suggest this is a terrorist-related incident at this time,” said Laura Keehner, spokeswoman for the Department of Homeland Security. The subway lines were back in service and running with major delays after the power dip.
