WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Washington Redskins have signed defensive end Renaldo Wynn for his second stint with the club, the team said on Tuesday.

Wynn spent five seasons with the Redskins from 2002 to 2006 and went on to play with the New Orleans Saints (2007) and the New York Giants (2008).

The 12-year NFL veteran played in all 16 regular season games for the Giants, registering 24 tackles and two sacks.

Wynn began his career in Jacksonville, where he spent five seasons after being drafted in the first round (21st overall) of the 1997 NFL Draft.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed in a team statement.
