The abductions took place on Wednesday on the outskirts of Benin City, the state capital, Edo state police commissioner Dan Malam Mohammed told Reuters, adding that the two workers were employed by a company called Time Multinational.

“The abductors have not made any contact but we are tracking them,” Mohammed said. “No arrest has been made yet.”
