China says no radioactive material detected at border after North Korea test

BEIJING (Reuters) - China’s Nuclear Safety Administration said on Monday it had detected no radioactive material along its border with North Korea following the North’s nuclear test on Sunday.

Monitoring stations at 14 locations across four provinces had shown no sign of impact to the environment or the Chinese public, the administration said in a statement on its website.
