Talks between North Korean, U.S. officials have been 'substantive': U.S. top diplomat

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Thursday that talks with North Korean officials had been “substantive,” as the two countries prepare for a potential summit between their leaders.

Pompeo and top North Korean official Kim Yong Chol concluded two days of talks in New York in advance of the summit, which originally was scheduled for June 12 in Singapore.
