Suspected U.S. missile strike in Pakistan, 3 dead

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - A suspected U.S. drone aircraft fired two missiles into Pakistan’s North Waziristan region on the Afghan border on Thursday, killing three militants, intelligence officials said.

The pilotless drone attacked a militant compound in a village near Miranshah, the main town of the region, a stronghold of Taliban and al Qaeda militants.
