Shares in Grana y Montero rise more than 9 percent

LIMA (Reuters) - U.S.- and Peruvian-listed shares in Peruvian construction group Grana y Montero rose by more than 9 percent in midday trading on Thursday as they recovered from steep losses prompted by a corruption scandal.

Grana’s shares have risen by about 18 percent since Tuesday, after the company’s former executives were jailed in connection with a corruption investigation on Monday.
