Poehler's pregnancy affects "Parks" production

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Amy Poehler, star of “Parks and Recreation,” and her husband, Will Arnett (“30 Rock”), are expecting a second child.

Poehler’s pregnancy is not going to be written into the NBC series “Parks,” which has been renewed for a third season. The baby is due in the summer or early fall, and the pregnancy is expected to affect the show’s production schedule for next season.

To minimize the effect, “Parks” will stay in continuous production after it wraps Season 2 to bank episodes for the next season.

Poehler had the couple’s first child in October 2008, when she was still a cast member of “Saturday Night Live.” She famously rapped alongside Sarah Palin just days before giving birth.
